Can you replace my existing website?
Yes. We build and review the replacement before switching your domain. You keep the domain in your own registrar account and provide approved access to its DNS settings. We agree on the changeover, preserve existing email settings, and check important links before launch. If you need a new domain, we can guide you through buying it in your own name.
Can you help connect payments?
Yes, when payment integration is included in your scope. We can help configure a client-owned Stripe account or another agreed provider and connect checkout. You complete the provider’s identity and business verification, keep control of your bank details, and approve payment settings. Provider approval, fees, tax requirements, and supported countries are outside our control.
Do I need WordPress?
No. We can build and host your site through ChatGPT Sites. We’ll explain how updates, hosting, and access will work before the project begins.
What does “basic search setup” include?
Page titles and descriptions, clear headings, descriptive image text, and indexable public content. Ongoing SEO campaigns, audits, and paid advertising are separate services outside these website packages.
How long does a website take?
Your proposal includes a schedule based on the pages, features, content you have ready, and review time. We agree on the timeline before work starts.
Can I request an update without a care plan?
Yes. Choose individual work with its own scope, price, and timing. Content updates start at $150; additional pages start at $350. You approve the quote before work begins.
What happens if the site goes down?
Because we build the site, we can inspect its code and recent changes directly. We prioritize investigation under your plan and work toward recovery, including rollback to a working version when appropriate. Investigation and repair work use your monthly allowance; additional work requires approval. Corrections to faults introduced by our own maintenance changes are handled without an additional repair charge. Hosting, domain, or payment-provider outages can affect restoration time. Without a plan, an initial outage assessment starts at $150 and repair work is quoted separately.
What does annual care payment cover?
A full year of the selected care plan. You receive the same monthly checks and hour allowance as monthly billing; hours remain monthly rather than becoming one large annual pool. Care is $1,500 per year, Priority is $3,500, and Same-Day is $6,000 when paid annually. Coverage, payment terms, and service conditions are confirmed in your agreement.
Will I keep control of my domain and business accounts?
Your domain and payment accounts stay in your name. We define website access, project files, hosting arrangements, and handover in the written proposal.
